Why we started
Juju Tips
We are James and Emily. Juju Tips is the two of us, and it started with a problem in our own house.
Our second baby arrived in 2026. Emily had always liked having her nails done, and afterwards she simply stopped going. A salon afternoon is time you no longer have, and long salon nails are not what you want on the hands carrying a newborn around all day. So she went without.
She still looked at them, though. So I spent a few days at the Canton Fair in Guangzhou walking the nail halls, asking to see what was actually any good, and brought a set home for her to try.
She has worn them since. Her verdict, more or less: they stay out of the way of the housework, there is nothing sharp near the baby, and they still look like she made an effort. That was the whole test, and it is the reason this shop exists.
How we choose
A small shop,
on purpose
We are not trying to carry everything. A few styles, picked one at a time and tested at home before they go up. If we would not put it on Emily's hands, it does not go on the site.
